When I dance, my body flies
And so does my spirit
When I dance, my soul becomes light
And my eyes shine bright
When I do not, I feel alive, although not free
When I do not, I feel safe, but not totally
Music is needed, it is food for thought
Dancing is needed, it is water for thirst
Because when I dance, I can be anyone
I magically become another,
But this "another" is who I am indeed
I must never stop dancing
For I do not want my life to end
